Back in the 1960's, 70's and 80's my father Roy H. Linscott II built a reputation on his knowledge of trains.  He accumulated thousands of photos, tens of thousands of pages of text, and unique railroad memorabilia all of which ended up in his tiny little print shop in the basement of our Natick, Massachussetts home.  After my father passed away, we turned off the lights in his little shop and in a way it became a vault sealed for decades, perfectly preserving the images my father collected.

Over the past thirty years after we each served as United States Navy Corpsmen, my half brother and I have shared our father's interest in trains, visiting railroad museums, and historic tourist railroads, and building our own archive of photos, videos, and paintings.  As we traveled, we learned that the love for rail is still as strong in America and Canada as it was in our father's time.

This website features samples rare never before released historic rail photos, digitally restored images, reprints of our father's publications, limited edition watercolor prints, and much, much more.

Here you will find opportunities to build your own railroad memories, and collections.  With  a strong love for trains, and gratitude to my father... I welcome you to "Linscott's  Trains"!!

father's interests comes naturally for Roy.
